How ticket distribution works
TixGiving Foundation Inc. does not hand tickets directly to the public. Donated concert, sports, and theater tickets are placed with vetted 501(c)(3) partner organizations, and those partners decide which of the people they already serve receive them. That structure is deliberate: the nonprofits closest to a community know who a night out would actually matter to, and it keeps a documented chain of charitable use from the donor to the person in the seat.
How partners are vetted
- Verified 501(c)(3) status, confirmed by EIN.
- A charitable program and service population that live event access genuinely serves.
- A named staff contact accountable for accepting and distributing tickets.
- A written commitment that tickets are never resold, auctioned, or traded.
- Post-event confirmation of who attended, so charitable use is on the record.
Who our partners serve
Partner organizations include youth programs, family shelters and housing services, veterans groups, patient and caregiver support organizations, and community centers. The common thread is simple: the people they work with rarely get to a live event, and a donated ticket that would otherwise expire unused becomes a real experience instead.
