    What documents TixGiving issues

Every ticket or monetary donation to TixGiving Foundation Inc. produces two documents. The first is an acknowledgment letter, sent when your donation is reviewed and approved, confirming what you gave and when. The second is your tax receipt, issued once the donation has actually been placed with a nonprofit partner and the charitable use is on the record.

    When each one arrives

The acknowledgment letter is emailed at approval, usually within a few business days of your submission. The tax receipt follows fulfillment, which can be weeks later if the event is far out. Both are permanently retrievable from this page using the email address you donated with.

What your receipt does and does not say

TixGiving Foundation does not determine what your tickets were worth. Federal rules put valuation on the donor, so your receipt describes the tickets donated and confirms that no goods or services were provided in exchange. Donations of $250 or more require a full mailing address on file. See our tax information page for the details, and consult your own tax advisor about deductibility.

If you cannot find a donation

Documents are tied to the exact email address used at donation time. If you used a work address, a different personal address, or donated through your employer or venue, try each address before contacting us. Still missing something? Email help@tixgiving.org and we will find the record. TixGiving Foundation Inc., EIN 33-4094834, is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
