    What documents TixGiving issues

    Once TixGiving Foundation verifies it has received your tickets, TixGiving may issue an Acknowledgment Letter describing the tickets received. Later, TixGiving may also issue an Impact Update reporting placement, delivery, or that tickets could not be placed. Earlier updates were titled Final Charitable Contribution Acknowledgment. TixGiving does not determine the fair market value of donated tickets or the amount, if any, that may be deductible.

    When each one arrives

    The Acknowledgment Letter is emailed once the Foundation verifies it has received your tickets. It describes the tickets received. An Impact Update may follow later to report placement or delivery; it does not change or withdraw the letter. That can be weeks later if the event is far out. Documents that have been issued remain retrievable from this page using the email address you donated with.

    What these documents do and do not say

    TixGiving Foundation does not determine what your tickets were worth. Federal rules put valuation on the donor, so each document describes the tickets donated and confirms that no goods or services were provided in exchange. Donations of $250 or more require a full mailing address on file. See our tax information page for the details, and consult your own tax advisor about deductibility.

    If you cannot find a donation

    Documents are tied to the exact email address used at donation time. If you used a work address, a different personal address, or donated through your employer or venue, try each address before contacting us. Still missing something?
