How long has it operated, and who oversees it?
The Foundation was formed in 2025 and is a young organization. Chris Zameryka is the Founder and President and is responsible for day-to-day operations, donation review, and partner approval. Governance and financial questions can be directed to president@tixgiving.org, and we will answer them directly.
Is the platform in beta? What does that mean?
The charitable organization is real and operating. The technology platform is in an early, controlled pilot.
In practice, that means:
- Real donations and real nonprofit partnerships are happening now.
- Every ticket donation is reviewed by a person before it is approved or placed.
- Geographic coverage is expanding deliberately. If we do not yet have a vetted partner near an event, we say so rather than promising a placement we cannot deliver.
- Parts of the website are still being refined, and we welcome reports of anything that looks wrong.
Beta describes the software and the pace of our rollout. It does not mean the charity itself is experimental or provisional.
TixGiving.org versus TixGiving.com
TixGiving Foundation Inc. (TixGiving.org) is the 501(c)(3) charitable organization. It receives every charitable donation, reviews it, works with nonprofit partners on distribution, and issues all acknowledgment letters and tax receipts. Everything charitable happens here.
TixGiving Inc. (TixGiving.com) is a separate commercial entity associated with the underlying technology and product concept. The longer-term concept for that entity may include developing or licensing ticket donation and distribution technology to nonprofits and other organizations. That is a future concept, not a description of arrangements that exist today.
TixGiving Inc. does not receive, process, or control charitable donations. The two entities are legally separate, and the separation is intentional so that charitable activity stays clearly inside the Foundation.
Are there public Form 990 filings yet?
As a tax-exempt organization, TixGiving Foundation is subject to applicable IRS annual filing requirements. Public filings will be made available here as they become available.
Newly recognized organizations typically do not have a published return in IRS or third-party databases for some time after formation. We would rather tell you that plainly than imply a filing history we do not yet have.
How can I verify the Foundation independently?
Do not take our word for it. The IRS maintains a free, official lookup of tax-exempt organizations. Search it for EIN 33-4094834 or for "TixGiving Foundation".
IRS Tax Exempt Organization SearchThe IRS search tool creates results per session, so we link the official search itself rather than a link that would break. TixGiving does not currently have a rating profile with Charity Navigator or a comparable rater; those services generally require several years of filings before an organization can be rated. Nothing on this page should be read as an endorsement by the IRS or any third party.
What has TixGiving actually accomplished so far?
Stated conservatively, and current as of August 2026:
- Recognized as a 501(c)(3) organization and operating under that status.
- Thirteen nonprofit partner organizations vetted and approved, across seven states.
- Ticket and monetary donations received and reviewed during the pilot. Volume is small by design while coverage is built out.
- An end-to-end donation, review, allocation, and receipt process running in production, with two-stage documentation: an acknowledgment on approval and a tax receipt after fulfillment.
We are not going to inflate these numbers. If you want current figures before donating, ask and we will send them.
How do I ask a financial or governance question?
Email president@tixgiving.org for governance, financial, or entity questions, or help@tixgiving.org for donation and receipt questions. You can also use our contact form.
TixGiving does not appraise donated tickets or determine the deductible value of any donation. Donors are responsible for their own valuation and should consult a tax professional. See our tax information page for details.
