    Donate Your Tickets

Can't make it to an event? Donate your tickets to TixGiving Foundation Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and receive an IRS-compliant tax-deductible receipt.

    How it works

    1. Choose your delivery method. Most modern tickets live in Ticketmaster, AXS, SeatGeek, or a team app and can only be transferred to an email address. Choose mobile transfer if that is your situation. If you have a PDF or printed ticket, choose photo upload instead.
    2. Enter event and seat details. Provide the event name, venue, date, and seat location for each ticket. You can donate up to 10 tickets in a single batch.
    3. State your own fair market value. You determine the value, not TixGiving. The IRS places that responsibility on the donor. If you paid nothing or the tickets were complimentary, enter $0.
    4. We review and acknowledge. An administrator reviews your submission. On approval you receive a Stage 1 acknowledgment letter confirming the donation was received and describing the tickets.
    5. We place the tickets, then issue your receipt. We distribute the tickets to a vetted 501(c)(3) partner serving people in the venue's area. Once the event completes, you receive your Stage 2 tax receipt.

    Mobile transfer tickets

Ticketmaster, AXS, SeatGeek, and team apps rotate the barcode and only allow transfer to an email address or phone number. Choose the mobile transfer option when you submit, and after approval we send you the exact destination to transfer to. No photo is required. Do not transfer tickets to anyone before submitting them.

    PDF or printed tickets

If you have a PDF or printed ticket, upload a photo or file and our system reads the event details, venue, date, and seat information automatically. You can donate up to 10 tickets at once.
