Who can apply to receive donated tickets

TixGiving Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that collects unused concert, sports, and theater tickets from individual donors, venues, teams, and companies, and places them with charitable organizations serving people who could not otherwise attend. Partner organizations receive tickets at no cost and distribute them directly to the families, youth, veterans, patients, and community members they already serve.

    Eligibility requirements

    • A registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in good standing, identified by your EIN.
    • A charitable program or service population that would genuinely benefit from live event access.
    • A named staff contact who can accept tickets, confirm who received them, and respond before event dates.
    • Agreement that donated tickets are never resold, auctioned, or exchanged for money or goods.
    • A defined service area, so we can match donations from nearby venues to your organization.

    What happens after you apply

    1. We verify your nonprofit status and review your mission. Most reviews finish within three to five business days.
    2. Once approved, you get a partner dashboard where you can see available tickets for events in your service area and request them.
    3. When a request is approved, we transfer the tickets to you and record who they were distributed to, which keeps our charitable use documentation accurate.
    4. After the event, you confirm attendance. That record is what lets us show donors their tickets reached real people.

There is no cost to apply and no cost to receive tickets. TixGiving Foundation never charges partner organizations, and we do not sell or share your organization's contact information.
