How It Works

Submit the dates you can't use
Enter the event, date, and seat details. You can submit several tickets in one donation, and larger seasons can be set up with our team.

Transfer to the Foundation
After review, use official mobile transfer to send the tickets to an account controlled by TixGiving Foundation. Tickets are never transferred directly to a partner.

Receive your acknowledgment
Once the Foundation verifies the tickets are in its account, you receive an acknowledgment letter describing the tickets received.

We place the seats
The Foundation offers the tickets to a vetted nonprofit partner. We may later send an Impact Update about what happened. It is not a tax receipt and does not change your acknowledgment.

Frequently asked questions
Can I donate only some games from my season?
Yes. Donate any dates you can't use. Each one is reviewed and acknowledged once the Foundation verifies receipt.
Does TixGiving tell me what my tickets are worth?
No. TixGiving Foundation does not determine, appraise, or certify ticket value or tax deductibility. Please talk to a qualified tax professional about your situation.
What if a game is rescheduled or cancelled?
Let us know right away. For a rescheduled date we work to keep the placement for the new date. Cancelled events cannot be placed.
How much lead time do you need?
The more the better. Submitting at least several days before the event gives partners time to organize attendees.
